Corporate Private Jet Membership

A corporate private jet membership is a contract that gives a company prepaid or committed access to private flights: a jet card, a fractional share or an operator programme. The right choice depends on how many hours your executives really fly, how far ahead trips are known, and how much capital the company is willing to commit.

In Short

Most “memberships” sold to companies fall into three families: jet cards (a prepaid balance or committed hours against fixed conditions), fractional ownership (a share of an aircraft with a set number of hours per year) and operator programmes (an annual commitment on one operator’s fleet). Alongside them sits on-demand charter, where each flight is sourced and quoted separately, with no membership at all.

FFGR Jets is a broker: we do not sell a membership of our own and we do not own aircraft. We arrange on-demand charter flights with air operators and help companies compare the programmes they are offered, line by line, before anyone signs.

The Four Models, Side by Side

Jet card

What it is
A prepaid balance or a block of committed hours, flown under conditions fixed in the contract.
Usually suits
Companies that fly regularly and want the same conditions on every trip.
Read closely
Peak-day rules, minimum billed time per flight, notice period and what happens to an unused balance.

Fractional share

What it is
Part ownership of an aircraft type, with a yearly allocation of hours and monthly fees.
Usually suits
Companies with high, steady flying over several years.
Read closely
Term of the contract, exit and resale conditions, and the costs that are billed on top of the hours.

Operator programme

What it is
An annual commitment on a single operator’s fleet, with guaranteed availability within stated limits.
Usually suits
Executives who travel widely and value one aircraft standard everywhere.
Read closely
Size of the commitment, the fleet you are actually entitled to and the availability guarantee in writing.

On-demand charter

What it is
Each flight sourced and quoted separately, with no deposit and no annual commitment.
Usually suits
Irregular or unpredictable flying, and companies testing private aviation before committing.
Read closely
Availability on busy days and the time needed to confirm an aircraft, which depend on the market at the moment you book.

What a Company Should Check Before Signing

Ask every programme to answer these points in writing. They are where offers that look alike really differ.

Availability guarantee

How many hours or days of notice, on which days of the year, and what happens when the guarantee cannot be met.

Full cost of a flight

What is included and what is billed on top: repositioning, de-icing, catering, overnight crew costs, taxes and fees.

Contract terms

Length of the commitment, notice to exit, refund of unused funds and how client money is held.

Aircraft category

Which cabin size you are entitled to, how upgrades and downgrades are handled, and who decides the substitute aircraft.

Several travellers

Who in the company may book, how traveller profiles are kept, and how each flight is reported for internal approval.

Who operates the flight

The name of the air operator holding the air operator certificate for each flight, stated on the quote and the contract.

Where FFGR Jets Fits

We work for the company, not for a programme. You describe how your executives travel: routes, group sizes, how far ahead trips are known, the share of last-minute departures. We tell you plainly which model fits that pattern, including when on-demand charter is enough and no membership is needed.

When you choose on-demand charter, we source each flight from air operators, confirm the aircraft and the operator in writing, and send one quote per flight. Prices are always quoted on request, for your actual trip.

Questions

What is a corporate private jet membership?

It is a contract that gives a company committed or prepaid access to private flights: a jet card, a fractional share or an operator programme. In exchange for a deposit or an annual commitment, the company flies under conditions fixed in advance, such as notice period, aircraft category and how each hour is billed.

Is a jet card the same as a membership?

Not exactly. A jet card is a prepaid balance or a block of hours flown under set conditions. Some cards also come with a separate membership fee, others do not. Always ask what the card buys and what the membership, if any, adds on top of it.

Does FFGR Jets sell a membership?

No. FFGR Jets is a broker: we have no membership, no card and no aircraft of our own. We arrange on-demand charter flights with air operators and can help a company compare the programmes it is considering.

When does a company not need a membership?

When flying is irregular, when trips are rarely known far ahead, or when the company is still measuring its needs. On-demand charter then avoids tying up a deposit, and the company can revisit a programme once it knows its real yearly usage.

Can several executives use the same arrangement?

Yes, in most programmes and with on-demand charter. Check who is authorised to book, how traveller details are stored and how each flight is reported, so that finance and the travel desk can follow usage without chasing invoices.

How do we compare costs between offers?

Ask each offer for the full cost of the same sample trips, in writing: what is included, what is billed on top, peak-day rules and minimum billed time. Comparing the hourly figure alone is misleading, because the extras differ from one contract to another. We can run that comparison with you on request.
